The geographical location of Gdansk Pomeranian Region creates plenty of outdoor activities both on land, water and in the air all year round.
The most popular activity is biking. Gdansk can boast of the biggest network of cycling paths in Poland and offers very attractive biking trails in the landscape parks around the city. Pomeranian Region is also a great place for a relaxed leisure and getting back to nature.
The kayaking routes attract fans of peaceful, as well as a bit more extreme kayaking trips. You can actually sightsee from kayak on the river Motława and visit the heart of Gdańsk harbour by water.
Lovers of the water sports will find perfect conditions for windsurfing and kiteboarding between may and september. Separated by The Hel Peninsula from sea Pucka Bay is a recognized water sports centre, attracting the best sportsmen from Europe. Numerous schools offer training courses or camps for both the beginners and more advanced learners.

Kitesurfing learning course:
a) beginners level: 5 hrs (2 days) – 150 EUR per person, a group price – 120 EUR / person.
b) intermediate level: 10 hrs (4 days) ca. 250 EUR / person
Parachuting jump: 1200 m height, theory introduction + 3 jumps – 240 EUR.
Tandem jump: 4000 m height, a package including filming and pictures made by the instructor – around 250 EUR.
Water scooter: hire in Sopot – appr. 600 zł / hour, steersman + 2 passengers
